STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Working from a photograph Susannah took in Richmond Park’s Isabella Plantation. Her tonal pencil drawing was digitally printed onto cotton/silk fabric and. Using a combination of silky, matt and metallic fine machine embroidery threads, she has hand-stitched colourful detail and embellished with sequins.
