STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Working from a photograph Susannah took in Hyde Park, her tonal pencil drawing was digitally printed onto cotton/silk fabric. Using a combination of silky, matt and metallic fine machine embroidery threads, she hand-stitched colourful detail to create her thread painting. Sold at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021.
